Vicente Marrero, Jr.

(Lawrence,MA)-Vicente Marrero Jr. (10-22-1956) passed away on August 14, 2021 at the age of 64 after a brief illness. He was born in Manhattan, New York.

He is predeceased by his parents Vicente Marrero Sr. and Gladys Morales Nieves. Vicente is survived by his wife Yvonne (Rosario) Marrero and his 3 daughters, Rosie Perez-Virella, Camellia Maldonado and Jillian Marrero as well as grandchildren, and great grandchildren and his two brother’s Jorge Marrero of Lawrence and Joe Marrero of Colorado.

He moved to Lawrence, Massachusetts in the 70’s, attended and completed Lawrence High School, night school with his wife of 47 years, earning their high school diplomas. Worked for over 35 years and retired from Raytheon in Tewksbury.

As a young man he enjoyed playing basketball and handball, winning several tournaments and in his later years loved fishing with friends in Gloucester and relished his time with his daughter and their families.

There will be no services held as this was his final wish but he will be sadly missed by his family and many friends… Remembered Always…..
