Jaime Pagan, 85, Lawrence Ma, peacefully passed away on January 18th 2022, in the company of his loved ones.

Jaime was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico to Virgina Morales and Jaime Pagan Sr. Jaime first relocated to New York and then made his way to Lawrence MA, where he met Maria Subveri. The two married, sharing a vibrance and passion for life marked by a mutual love of caring for animals, road trips to their favorite restaurants, nights out dancing with friends and family. Through his marriage Jaime flourished in his new roles as father, and grandfather.

Jaime held many jobs in his lifetime; and retired in his 70’s from the farming industry. He took pride in being a generalist on the farm and orchard. Whether at home, or on the farm, there was no job too large or small for Jaime who found satisfaction in being the handy man for his family and greater community.

In retirement, Jaime is remembered as a lively member of his day program at OASIS. Always offering a smile, usually a piece of candy, and sometimes a sly riddle. He was beloved by peers and staff members alike.

Jaime was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maria Pagan and brother Clotilde Pagan. He is survived by his children: Luz Carrasquillo, Hector Herrera, Angie Caban-Gandi, Richard Herrera, Felix Hererra; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. His siblings: Julia M. Pagan, Felix Pagan, Joey Pagan, Maria Pagan, Helen Pagan, Sandra Pagan, David Pagan.

Services will be held at Perez Funeral Home on Saturday January 29th 2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Flowers may be sent to: 298 S Broadway, Lawrence, MA 01843.
