Blake Alexander Tavarez

Blake Alexander Tavarez(33), born on April 1st, 1985 in Brooklyn, NY passed away unexpectedly on April 30th, 2018.
Son of Alba Montano, Blake was best known for his quirky sense of humor, compassion, charisma and love of animals. He grew up in Lawrence, MA where he enjoyed playing sports and eating at his favorite restaurants;Brothers Pizza, Pollo Tipico and Peking Garden to name a few. His pastimes included pulling pranks, watching sports and movies, playing poker and video games, and spending time with his two children.
His days would be best spent with the love of his life, his daughter, Lianna and his best friend and spinning image, his son, Carmine. Blake was a gentle soul and cared for those around him. Initially timid by nature, he could easily have a room filled with people hysterically crying of laughter. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Blake is survived by his wife ,Yanissa Tavarez of Chelsea,MA, his mother ,Alba Montano of Sanford, FL, his brother ,Manny Tavarez of Sandford,FL, his maternal grandmother, Dinorah Monroy of Henderson, NV, aunts, Anna Maria Montano of Malden,MA and Amarilis Perez of Henderson, NV, uncles,Jose Montano of Henderson,NV and Christopher Monroy and his wife Karen of Methuen, MA, step brother, Victor Perez Jr ,cousins,Dennis Montero, Tiffany Perez, Leslie Fleischer and her husband Michael, Alexa Monroy, Hannah Monroy and his little buddies, Bronx, Zoë, Pia, Tyler, Zoey, Bianca and Jasmine.

Family, friends and those who’s lives have been touched by Blake are invited to the Perez Funeral Home, 298 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 P.M.

In lieu of flower donations, memorial contributions can be made to support his children Lily and Carmine.
