Ann Marie (Kuczmiec) Wilson, 70, a lifelong resident of Framingham, MA went home to be with The Lord on Monday, March 22, 2021 after a short illness and long battle with Multiple Myeloma cancer.

Ann Marie, daughter of Gertrude R. (Couture) Ryley and the late Stanley R. Kuczmiec, was born May 24, 1950 in Boston, Mass. She graduated from Framingham North High School and Salem State University with a bachelor’s degree in Education. Over the years, she held a variety of teaching jobs, but her life’s love was working as a Pre-School teacher for SMOC Head Start Program for almost 25 years. She was awarded the Massachusetts Teacher of The Year award for her work with preschool children.

Ann and her husband, James E. Wilson, were married on August 24, 1974 were together for almost 50 years. In addition to her husband and mother, Ann is survived by 5 children; Jeremiah and his wife Jenn; Matthew, Shelley, Bonnie and Dylan. In addition to her children, Ann (Nana) had 8 grandchildren; Andrew (predeceased), Travis, Devin, Mackenzie, Ryan, Ava, Arya & Brooklynn.

Ann also leaves behind her siblings; Stanley & his wife Barbara, Rosalie, Joanne Sullivan & her husband Stephen, Catherine Shelley, Shirley Tibbert, Theresa Kuczmiec, Juliette Forcina & her husband John, Anthony & his wife Carole, George, William & his wife Darlene, Richard, her sisters-in-law, Deborah Kuczmiec and Deborah Anderson and many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great, great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother John in 2001, her brother-in-law Lenny Shelley in 2008 and her brother Joseph in 2016.

Since Ann became “Nana”, she loved going to beach with her grandkids. Sitting on the sand, laying in the sun, and swimming in the ocean were would always bring a smile to her face. She never missed an opportunity to be with her grandkids; going out lunch, playing in the backyard, watching them on the football field and so much more.

Ann had a strong love of family. She loved going to family gatherings and celebrating all special occasions, big or small. Ann always put others before herself and cared deeply for her family and friends. Whenever there was a family get together, after going home she would make a trip back to her mom’s house and spend some quiet time with her when everyone else had left for the night. It was their own time together.

She loved serving in her church, The Natick Church of Christ, where she attended for over 40 years. She loved serving the Lord in anyway; whether helping in the nursery, cooking meals for potlucks or teaching Sunday school, it was important to her to help in any way she could.

The wake for Ann Wilson will be held this Friday, March 26 from 4-8 at the Natick Church of Christ 324 N Main St, Natick, MA 01760. A private funeral will be held Saturday at 11:00am.
