Elizabeth A. Hartford

Elizabeth A. (Burns) Hartford, 76 of Exeter, NH died peacefully on the morning of December 18, 2018 at High Point House in Haverhill, MA.

Bette was born in Haverhill, MA on April 4, 1942 to Ernest Burns and Edith (Ellis) Lowes.

She was a devoted Mother, Wife, Sister and friend.  She will be remembered for her tenacity, humor and generosity. 

Bette retired from the Maintenance department at Seabrook Greyhound Park in 2012 where she worked for more than 20 years.  She enjoyed riding in her car listening to audio books; making people laugh and showing people her famous wedding ring.  

She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Richard Hartford, Sr; and Granddaughter Jennifer (Rossetti) Kleinowskis.

Her family includes three children, Edward Rossetti Jr and wife, Donna of Haverhill, MA; Lisa Rossetti-Nolan and husband, Peter of  E. Montpelier, VT; Sandie Rossetti of Methuen, MA; Sister, Heidi Morrison and husband, David; two nephews, Philip and Michael Rochussen of Vermont; Grandchildren Melissa, Brandy and Krissy Nolan of Vermont; Holly and Richard Hartford of Haverhill, MA; Great-granddaughter Ariyelle Kleinowskis; honorary children; Matthew Rawding and Stan Jennings of NH and several neighbors she considered family.
